Stratford Health Group (SHG) isn’t like every other medical staffing agency. The founders of SHG were raised by a family of doctors and nurses but decided to take their career path in a different direction. They gained experience running businesses, but those experiences always led back to medicine. From opening medical spas to being lead client representatives for healthcare facilities, they always found themselves working in the business side of medicine. That’s what makes SHG different; we care about medicine. Our team protvides more straightforward solutions for clinicians looking for work and clients needing assistance with their staffing efforts. When inquiring about a partnership, one of the main concerns is, “How do you trust an agency?” SHG responds simply by being transparent, honest, and available. All agencies recruit from the same pool of clinicians and clients, but what makes our services different?

Competitive Rates

After multiple years of our founders experiencing unfair rates while working in this industry, they aim to do things differently at SHG. The best partnerships are built on trust, availability, and rate fairness. An SHG client representative will negotiate the best rates for our clinicians and clients. We don’t overcharge our margins and make it impossible for clients to receive great clinical coverage for their facilities. We work on giving our clinicians the best rate possible while staying within our client’s budget. Many locum agencies try to overcharge on their margins (pay providers less & charge clients more.) At SHG, we promise that won’t be the case. We want to create a long-lasting relationship, which can only happen if we’re fair with our partners.

Our SHG Portal

This is accessible via computer or mobile device. It allows clinicians to view their locum schedules, credentials, travel itineraries, and pay stubs. Clinicians can also view open positions and save the ones they’re interested in learning more about to their profile. The portal offers clients streamlined credentialing services, easy job sharing, schedule updates, and access to clinician summaries for the clinicians who opt into sharing their details. Please note that the clinician summaries don’t provide the clinician’s personal information but allow clients to view their profession, specialty, experience, licenses, and background details. Meaningful Relationships

The SHG team understands the importance of meaningful relationships and how our relationships with clinicians and clients can make all the difference. SHG doesn’t want our partners to feel like another number; we want them to feel a part of our family.

Malpractice Coverage

SHG’s malpractice carrier offers a standard coverage of 1-3 mil with a tail. For states requiring higher limits, we can also meet those coverage requirements. Any certificates of insurance for our clinicians will be created and sent to both the clinician and client who require copies. These certificates are sent during the credentialing process.
